Ty is home for the summer. I'm really loving it after not seeing him much for 15 months. So we're trying to do family activities together before Ty goes back to school. Did I mention that he's going back to school? Probably not. I was hoping I wouldn't have to mention it. I have been planning a blog post in my head that says something like, "Introducing the new Assistant Principal at (insert school here)." But alas, the economy has forced us another way and now Ty is going to BYU again to get his Ph.D. in the EIME program. EIME stands for Educational Inquiry Measurement and Evaluation. Anyways, before that happens we have actually been trying to
do things. And since we have no money, we wanted to do something cheap.
Last week's cheap activity was going to the Kennecott Copper Mines, or as Jackson calls it, "The big hole." The boys loved it actually. Hayden couldn't get over all the dump trucks. The whole time I heard him say, "There's another one! There's another one! There's another one!" Which is what he was saying right here:

While looking at all these:

The boys loved the dump truck tire. (At least I think that's what it goes to.)
Something like this typically happens when I want the boys to take a picture with me:
Yay for family togetherness!

The END!

Who doesn't love the "big hole?" In fact, you've inspired me to plan my own little family fieldtrip. Yay for family togetherness, indeed! Oh, and boo for more school!
that looks like fun, I've never actually been up there! Where's the next local stop?
Looks like everyone had fun. I can't wait to see my grandsons at a "less than local" place soon. Love to you all!
