He loves giraffes, at least in books. And when we went to the building it said to be quiet because loud noises scare the animals. We walked in and Hayden started his cry that gradually gets louder and louder and I'm sure would have eventually caused a giraffe stampede. So I told him it was ok. If he was scared and didn't want to see the giraffes, just close your eyes and . . . he did, almost the whole time. He loves to talk about them now though. Go figure. Here's Jackson copying his brother.

The Zoo
We went to the zoo a while ago and I wanted to post some pictures. I had a free ticket for Jackson that expired the next day and so I wanted to use it. When I got to the ticket booth to pay for mine, I realized that I couldn't find Jackson's free pass. I still haven't found it. I swear I put it in my purse and I think it flew out my window on the way up there. It is a mystery. Anyways we had a great time. If you were there you wouldn't know how much Jackson and Hayden loved the zoo. Jackson seemed pretty nonchalant about the whole thing and Hayden cried and wouldn't get too close to the elephants, the gorillas, giraffes, or anything else semi large, but they still talk about the zoo every day. Hayden tells me all the animals he saw: the zebras, the tiger, the goat, the peacock and most emphatically, the giraffes, even though you wouldn't know he saw them since he spent most of the time with the giraffes like this:
Here are some more of my favorites.

Yay for the zoo!
And this is what he did when I told him NOT TO SMILE.

Here's how it works.
1. Choose the 4th folder where you store your pictures on your computer
2. Select the 4th picture in that folder
3. Explain the picture
4. Tag 4 other people to do the same.
This is Jackson some time after Easter of 2006. He has his Easter bucket on his head and he used to like to wear it as a hat. He's so chubby I just want to squeeze every inch of him.
I tag Tiffany, Jennifer, Scooby, and Lisa.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Jackson and Hayden were so excited to FINALLY be able to wear their St. Patrick's day shirts from Grandma Jones. Thanks Grandma for making them look so cute! If only they would smile normally for a picture.

These are a little better:

Blog Title
Tyler never looks at the blog. I was looking at it the other day and he saw the title.
"Oh, change your title, that is dumb."
"It's suppossed to be funny. Most of the time I am dysfunctional."
"Change it. It makes it sound like you need therapy."
"Oh, honey," I said. I was really moved and I took it as a compliment. "That's so sweet. Are you saying I don't?"

Sleepover
Last night the boys had their first sleepover at Grandma's without Mommy or Daddy. It fabulous (for me - probably not so much for my mom.) I got to stay up late AND sleep in! My favorite thing in the whole world. I'm not kidding. Jackson said he wants to have another sleepover. I second that motion! Thanks Mom and Dad and Amanda and Logan! We love you!
The best story that I heard from last night (I am writing this for myself) was last night when the TV was turned on. My mom is having a huge dinner at her house today (wasn't she nice to take them? My family even took them to Church with them. Jackson only slightly peed his pants one time. He informed me that he "kind of peed his pants, but Amanda took me home and got me new underwear.") Anyways, My mom is having a huge dinner and was getting some things ready and she turned on the TV for the boys. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was on and of course it was the part where Lupin turns into a werewolf. Jackson and Hayden were standing there watching and their lips started trembling and then they were crying. My mom was frantically trying to change the channel, but she couldn't find the right remote or it wasn't working or something, (and by the way, I don't know how to turn off the TV without the remote. The button is tiny and impossible to find) so she started yelling, "Go into my room! Go into my room!" She shooed them out of the living room and into her room and they were crying and scared and hysterical. It might not sound funny, but when she was telling it it was soo funny. But they're fine. They calmed down and watched "Meet the Robinsons." Oh, good times.

When Animals Attack
I never thought I would use the expression, "music to my ears," but when they laugh, it is music to my ears. (Hayden is laughing in the background.)
Oh here's one more.
