: And Jackson says, "Mommy, what is that?"
"I don't know," I said as I was looking to see what the animal was.
"Mommy, is that a baby Marmoset?"
"Jackson, What's the heck is a Marmoset? Oh, look. It's a Lemur. What the heck is a Lemur?" (I later had to ask Ty how to say it. I was pronouncing it wrong)
"Oh, it's a Lemur mommy, good job and Diego saved the baby Marmoset."
OH MY GOSH

Duh, haven't you seen the episode where Diego saves the baby marmoset and his daddy marmoset and they feed him tree sap or something? Oh my gosh Shelly, you are so out of it.
See, who says TV is bad for kids? It teaches him and YOU.
BTW, I had no idea what a marmoset was either, actually, I still have no idea since I don't sit and watch the show, I just hear bits and pieces of it.
And it's sad when one of the only words your own child can say clearly is "notebook" and can do all the actions to the Blue's Clues song. Yikes!!
Well, if you really want to know -- as a Diego expert...clearly, the baby marmoset's get healed by the magic tree....which talks...and then they take tree sap back home to their family to eat.
That is so funny Shelly. Yah, I've had a few of those conversations...while looking animal books with Jake. Funny stuff. Pretty sure (if it weren't for Diego) I'd still not know what half of the animals he helps would look like or how to even pronounce them. :) For example...Do you know what a chinchilla is? Hmmm??? That's what I thought too! :) hahah! Gotta love 'educational' shows like that! :)
I love the new look of your blog Shelly! How'd you do that? That's fun! (Very fall like.) Do you change it regularly? Anyhow, wanted to let you know that I liked it. :) Have a good day.
