Family Reunions

So my tooth is much better. Sorry for being dramatic. Husband was angelic taking care of me and the kids and cooking dinner and cleaning while I just laid there, moaning and sleeping, and barfing. A whole week of my life wasted - laying in bed. Good thing he was home! Besides getting another infection, we're almost done dealing with the tooth, or lack thereof.

Before my teeth issues we had a ton of fun going to family reunions and such. My dad's side of the family gets together every year and this year we were somewhere in Idaho. We had a blast. My cousin's husband has a SWEET boat and he was so nice to take us all out on it. The boys loved the boat. Their favorite part was swimming off the back in the Snake River. The whole trip Jackson wore a life jacket with floaties. He loves his floaties, and if he has to wear a life jacket, he wants BOTH. End of discussion. This is me strapped to a wake board. I was actually terrified. I've never wake boarded before, or snowboarded or anything. I'm a skier, but I wanted to try.
And I got up for about 15 seconds. That was the end of that. I'm definitely a skier and I'm sticking to it. Me and Manda Panda:Then we spent the rest of the day swimming on the dock.
Hayden wanted to jump in, but he wouldn't do it by himself. I had to hold him like this and I almost fell in every time.

And then it was time to go.

Ouch

I probably shouldn't blog at 2:30 in the morning while on Lortab, but here I am. I'm hurting and I can't sleep. So this is going to be one of those posts that are whiny and complainy. I'll try to keep it brief.

I had another tooth pulled today. It hurts. Wanna know why?

1. It was so infected that I had no more bone around the tooth on the side of my gums touching my cheek. Dentist had to scrape out multiple cysts out of surrounding existing bone all the way up to my sinus. He really said, "Wow, I see your sinus." My face is sore.

2. The infection got into my sinus and I have a killer headache radiating into my ear down to the back of my neck.

3. Last night killer sinus headache was accompanied by a migraine that made me really nauseous and put me out for the night.

4. I'm still nauseous - and every time I take my really strong antibiotic I get more nauseous so I don't want to eat.

5. Did I mention I'm insulin resistant - and if I don't eat every 2 hours I get nauseous? So then I try to eat and get more nauseous. And I think I've swallowed a lot of blood. It's gross. I can barely sit up.

6. Dentist said, "Good thing you took care of your infection today. It could get in your brain." AAAH! It was really serious and the only reason I wasn't crying out in total agony from the infection was because I had no bone to trap the infection and push it against my nerves.

EW. So I've slipped off the planet for a while, again. I hope to be back soon. I was just feeling normal from post vay-cay and now I'm definitely not - feeling normal that is. I kind of want to be in a coma. Call me in a few days. I miss you people.

Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy came to Jackson at Grandma Jones's house in Michigan. Jackson was so excited. SO EXCITED - To the point where he woke up multiple times during the night and at 4:30 in the morning he was awake and read to go for the day. That is 2:30 in Mountain Standard Time. 2:30!!!!! I could have killed him. After 2 hours of trying to get him to go back to bed we finally said screw it, and woke up. Anyway, he was really excited for his 2 dollars and bubblegum. Yay toothfairy.

What Happened to June?

Seriously, I can't believe it's over. I feel like I wait and wait and wait for June to come - the beginning of summer, birthday celebrations - and then it's gone! AAh, summer is going to fast!

Ty and I both had our birthdays in June. Whenever we talk about birthday celebrations we say birthday like Hayden did when he was little, so it sounds more like"Birday."

So anyway, we had pretty good and definitely chill "BIRDAY" celebrations. I was a little sad for this one, my last 20 something birthday. It kind of depressing, especially when Jackson acted like this all day long.

At least Hayden sang this to me over and over.

Here are some pictures from our BIRDAYS.
Here is the wallet that replaced my other brand new wallet that got RAN OVER by about 15 cars -or so I heard. I left it on the top of my car, on accident, and drove away so naturally it flew off the top of my car and landed in a busy road. Amazingly, my friend Lindsey wasn't too far behind me and she noticed my purple wallet, ran over it, and thought that maybe it was my purple wallet that she had just seen me drop at Wendy's. So she pulled over and risked her life in traffic to pick it up. When she opened the wallet and saw my face on my driver's license she laughed. Of course it was mine. THANK YOU LINDSEY! I seriously can't thank you enough!
I love this picture, especially the balloon placement. (The boys are in their 3D glasses from watching Toy Story 3. )

Ty thinks the above picture should be our Christmas card. Ha ha.

Here's Ty's Birday: (Amanda, I love your face!)
Jackson's showing him how he wrote, "Dad, I love you Love, Jackson" all by himself.

The boys took some of the cellophane(?) that one of Ty's presents was wrapped in and made capes out of them. Hayden ran around calling himself "SUPER HAYDEN" all night long until his cape finally ripped apart. Jackson was also "Super Jackson" but he wasn't nearly as into it as Hayden was. Hayden took his super hero status very seriously.

The Cutest Thing I've Ever Seen - Again

Jackson had is preschool graduation, and this time it was for real, as opposed to last year's, which was just for fun. His preschool class did such a cute program and Jackson sang his heart out, while laughing at the same time because Tyler was copying his actions by using Hayden as his puppet. If you've heard Jackson laugh, it's even funnier when he's laughing while he's singing. He loves his teacher Miss Dawn. He actually cried when he realized graduation meant not going back to preschool anymore. "I don't WANT to go to Kindergarten" is what I heard through his crying.Ty got off work early and made it to the graduation and Jackson was SO excited that his daddy was there. Here's the whole family. I love how we can crop pictures. I cropped off half my arm - on purpose.
I just thought his graduation outfit was awesome. Jackson did so great. During his speaking part he didn't even cover his eyes with his hands. Yay Jackson!
Here is a cute (and long) video sum up of his graduation.

Bowling

I took the boys bowling for the first time a while ago. We went to BYU and now I am asked constantly when we are going to go bowling again. If we are going to Provo or anything close to BYU Jackson gets really excited and says, "CAN WE GO BOWLING?" I only have pictures from my phone. I have been a slack-er lately. This is Jackson and my brother, who, when I moved out of my house, was smaller than Jackson, and now he's huge. Time flies.
They stood in front of the machine the whole time
so they could see the balls come up. The WHOLE time.

I love this picture of Jackson This is the face I usually see all day long. Just imagine him whining, "heyyyyy".I didn't get a good picture of Hayden carrying the ball, but he had to do it by himself. No one could help him and I tried to get a video of the whole process. He would pick it up and start out ok and by the time he got it to the lane, he was all bent over and then he would heave it up to the ramp thing, all by himself. I'm just glad he didn't drop it on his toes. The saddest part of the whole thing was that even with bumper pads, I still didn't bowl over 100. I don't think I ever have. Hayden did though. He beat the pants off of me and Jackson.

Uhhhh,

I feel a little out of it lately and I'm feeling the need to blog, but I'm trying to figure out where all my pictures have gone, and where the month of April has gone. I found three pictures from the month of April that don' t have to do with Easter. So enjoy. Jackson built an ingenious little tower for his bakugon. I was just so pleased...not. And Ty let Hayden shave his face. We're exciting, I know.

OH OH OH! and Hayden's potty trained! I wish I had a picture of him running around in his underwear, but I don't. If you want to see that, just come on over. For some reason every time someone knocks on the door lately Hayden is going potty and he feels the need to come out in his underwear, or comes out in no underwear...or pants. Some days he tells me he doesn't need underwear and goes commando without me knowing. That is until I help him go potty. Then he will ask, "Mom, why do I need underpants?" To which I reply, "uhhhhh, you just do, so put them on." I've always been very persuasive.

Happy Easter!

It snowed today. We woke up to snow. So we stayed inside all day. ALL DAY. The boys had a good day. The Easter bunny found them and they've had a monstrous amount of candy. MONSTROUS.

Since it's Ty's spring break, what better way to relax than organizing the garage right? I know, he's crazy. He does this every once in a while. I swear the last time he cleaned out the garage and reorganized it was like 3 months ago. So I'm keeping track now. Today, April 4th 2010 Ty felt the need to reorganize the garage. Now I'll have a record of and I can say. You don't really need to do that already. You just did that on April 4th, and I refuse to help again. There's nothing I hate more than organizing, on a holiday.

Since we're reorganizing/cleaning the boys have had access to Halloween stuff. They've been running around in pumpkin and dragon costumes, and they've been reunited with their friends. Hayden's is named Ghost. (I'm so proud of him. He inherited my creativity.)
So that is the story of why there is a ghost in most of our Easter pictures. And since we were taking pictures of Ghost, we also had to take a picture of Skids. That's right, Skids, and in skid marks, or tire skids? I dunno, but that's his name and he's Jackson's new favorite transformer. He will most likely be taken everywhere with us.

He's very excited.

And we colored Easter Eggs, which we may or may not have put transformer stickers all over them. Does that seem just a little too commercialized to anyone else? I kind of couldn't believe that I bought them. Oh well. Happy Easter!
