Ty brought home a gingerbread house kit and Jackson was so excited to make it. He was bugging me all morning long to make the house. I have irrational fear of making gingerbread houses. I am not crafty, and I remember every time I actually tried to make one, I never finished because mine was ugly. I either made my sisters (who are very crafty and everything they touch - well at least anything Amy touches - turns out beautifully) finish it or I ate it - I do love candy and frosting. So I decided to be mature and try to help Jackson make a house. It turned out ok for our first finished gingerbread house ever. Jackson put on almost every piece of candy himself, while I tried to figure out how to use frosting as glue and also make it look pretty. I tried. At least Jackson had a blast.

So great!! I bet Jackson had a ton of fun. Nick and I were just talking about how that is defintely one for NEXT year.
I think it looks totally awesome! Way to go! We bought one of those kits too. But, we've threatened Jake that he can't do it until he's "really, really" good! :) We'll see if it gets done. Good job Shelly! Looks good!
